Our PTO

The Chapel School PTO is dedicated to enriching our students’ experiences through in-school programs, engaging social events, and meaningful community service projects.

Every parent or guardian of a Chapel School student is automatically a PTO member. There is no separate membership process — you are already part of the PTO community.

All families are welcome to attend meetings, volunteer at events, participate in programs, share ideas, and sign up for our free PTO website.

What We Do

The PTO operates under its bylaws and approved annual budget, working collaboratively with The Chapel School leadership and faculty to:

  • Support classroom enrichment and student programs
  • Organize school-wide social events
  • Lead community service initiatives
  • Raise funds to enhance the student experience
  • Strengthen communication between families and the school

The PTO Board

The PTO Board is composed of elected parent volunteers and provides leadership, oversight, and governance for the organization. Board members attend monthly PTO meetings and serve in defined leadership roles for the PTO. The Board:

  • Sets annual priorities and vision
  • Oversees the budget and fundraising efforts
  • Approves major initiatives and expenditures
  • Supports and coordinates committees
  • Ensures alignment with PTO bylaws and school policies

PTO Committees

Committees are responsible for planning and executing specific areas of PTO programming. Each committee is led by a Chair or Co-Chair who serves on the Board of Directors and is supported by parent and community volunteers. Any member of The Chapel School community is welcome to join a committee and contribute in whatever capacity their time allows — whether that’s helping occasionally or taking on a larger role. Our committees include:

  • Faculty Appreciation
  • Fundraising
  • Communications
  • Programming
  • Service & School Support
  • Social Events
  • Sponsorship & Parent Outreach

Get Involved

If you are ready to take a more active role, consider volunteering at an event, joining a PTO committee, or serving on the PTO Board! Whether you have a little time to give or are ready to take on greater responsibility, your involvement helps strengthen our community and enhance the experience for every Chapel student.
