Let's Help Feed Local Families in Need!

The Chapel School & VLC come together once a month to help prepare a meal for Community Service Associates in Mount Vernon. Our soup kitchen partner serves 80 - 100 grab and go meals four days a week. Their mission is to serve a nutritious meal free of charge to anyone in need. They have been in their current location for a couple of years and now have a homeless shelter down the street, so our offerings are well received.

Step 1. Sign-up

Visit our sign-up page to let us know what you can bring.

Step 2. Grab a Tray

Grab an aluminum try from the Reception Desk at school.

Step 3. Bring in Your Item

Prepare the food at home and deliver it in the tray (warmed, if it is a heated item) at the school parking lot from 12-1pm. Desserts may also be left at the Reception Desk during morning drop-off.
